The waxed tissue paper is a lightweight paper ideal for handling pâtisserie and bakery items such as pastries, cake slices and doughnuts. This particular grade of waxed tissue paper does not have any moisture barrier properties therefore would not be suitable for wrapping fresh meat, fish and other foods with a high moisture content. It does have some grease barrier properties so would be good for wrapping low grease products. Our ‘Grab Sheets’ product is an excellent example of using waxed tissue paper.

Greaseproof paper has good grease barrier properties, this particular grade of greaseproof paper is good for wrapping general pâtisserie and bakery items and also food that is not in contact with the paper for extended periods of time. A good example of this product in use is in the fast food industry where portions of fries are served in greaseproof paper bags.

The white semi transparent waxed paper has the same properties as the white waxed paper, however being semi-transparent means the wrapped food item will be partially visible through the paper. It is available in two base papers, a 45gsm (BUY NOW) or a 60gsm (BUY NOW)
