A semi-transparent (or low opacity)white waxed paper. This grade of waxed paper is very popular across the food industry as a low cost general purpose food wrapper. It is a light weight waxed paper so may not be suitable for wrapping foods with a high moisture content. The wax coating will offer a grease barrier therefore it can be used to wrap some cheeses and low grease items. Common in delis and farm shops for wrapping sandwiches, food on the go or items that are not in contact with the paper for extended periods of time.
 
Waxed Papers are available in a white, semi transparent white and brown. The white semi transparent waxed paper is also available in a medium weight base paper (45gsm) and a heavier weight base paper (60gsm) if required. Please call for more information.
The white semi transparent waxed paper has the same properties as the white waxed paper, however being semi-transparent means the wrapped food item will be partially visible through the paper. It is available in two base papers, a 45gsm (this product) or a 60gsm (LO60).
